Amber, fairly low carbonation, good head. Caramel-malty aroma. Good body, very malty. Sweet brown flavors, with a nice bitter background. Reminds me a little of a flat Snake River Lager (18-1419). Thanks to Paris Cunningham for bringing this beer to Hawai`i for me!

Red-brown, low carbonation, good head. Malty aroma, but not as big as the Captain's Pale (19-1507). Sweet, brown, flat. Very sweet finish...almost sticky. Newcastle (17-1332) has a much better balance. Thanks to Paris Cunningham for bringing this beer to Hawai`i for me!

Very dark red, nice head. Fusel odors, some black malt. Good body, roasty, some paint thinner character. Roasty-sweet black finish. Tastes a lot better than it smells. "Best consumed within eight weeks of bottling" - there's no date on the bottle.
