    Bamberg-Style Rauchbier
    • Date: October 19, 1997 (#2348)
      Package: bottled
Place: The Liquor Collection, Honolulu HI
      Score: 20 points
      Overall Impression (3)
Amber-brown, moderate carbonation, thick head. Pleasant - REAL - smoke aroma. Nice body, a little sweet. Smoke is subtle at first, and grows a bit, but is never overpowering. Rather than dominating the flavors, the smoke is a nice complement to the beer.

    4.90% abv.

  • South German-Style Hefeweizen/Hefeweissbier
    5.30% abv.
