1932 - Established in Jakarta as "De Archipel Brouwerij", a Dutch firm.1933 - Began commercial production.1940 - Taken over by Dutch administration and sold to private investors, name changed to "NV De Oranje Brouwerij".1958 - Nationalized by Indonesia under management Perusahaan Negara Perindustrian Rakyat (PNPR) Budjana Yasa (State Industry of the People "Budjana Yasa").1965 - Became property of Jakarta local government with name change to "Perusahaan Daerah Budjana Jaya"1969 - Entered into cooperation agreement with NV Brouwerij De Drie Hoefijzers from Holland.1970 - Consolidated into limited liability company named "PT Delta Jakarta".1983 - Anounced production capacity of 800.000 hectoliter per year. Entered into license agreement with Carlsberg International AS of Kopenhagen, Denmark for use of the trademark Carlsberg for 3% royalty of net sales.1984 - Listed on Jakarta Stock Exchange 27 Feb. Began production and marketing of Shanta Super Shandy.1987 - Launched Anker Stout 1988 - Exported Anker Beer overseas for first time. 1992 - Opened two projects valued at US$ 50 million to enhance capacity.1993 - Entered into cooperation agreements with PT Borsumij Wehri Indonesia for distribution, and new technology with San Miguel International Ltd., Hong Kong for new beer production location in Bekasi West Java. 1994 - Reported losses of rupiah 200 million per month from false Anker Beer sold in conjunction with the relocation of the factory to East Bekasi.1995 - Began relocation with investment of US$ 62.8 million; public announcement to make San Miguel Beer in Indonesia.1997 - Officially opened plant and corporate headquarters in Bekasi, Jawa Barat 1998 - Established subsidiary PT Jangkar Delta Indonesia for distribution of Pilsner Beer and dark beer drinks.Source: www.mainsaham.com/stock/ companyhist.jsp?stockcode=DLTA (Google cached pages)
