I prefer to drink Berliner Weisse ohne Schuß, despite the Berliner tradition as explained by Joe Andranian:
I didn't see in your review that you added a shot of Woodruff or Raspberry syrup to your Weisse. Berliners almost never drink it unless it has been sweetened, and both Kindl and Schultheiss sell pre-mixed Weisse in cans. It's really a summer drink (low alcohol content, intended to be mixed-- almost like a substitute for lemonade, and you do see kids drinking it on occasion).
