Opened: 1996

Boston Beer Company bought the Hudepohl-Schoenling Brewing Company building and equipment, effective February 28, 1997, and renamed the facility The Samuel Adams Brewery. Hudepohl's beers will be brewed at Frederick Brewing in Maryland and at City Brewing in Wisconsin.

      Overall Impression
      Golden, pretty good carbonation and nice white head. Very assertive malty aroma. Smooth body and very nice malt flavor. It's just a little too thick to call it "crisp", but it's a pretty tasty beer. Very vague hint of bitterness hidden in the finish.
