Served from a poly-cube. Pretty black. Good brown head, but huge bubbles. Coffee, roasty, not as "up-yer-nose" as Rogue Shakespeare Stout (16-1271). Big coffee flavor. Real Smooth and Silky. Nice sweet touch in middle. Smooth coffee finish. On the subject of Stouts, Michael Jackson says that Whitbread is introducing an Oyster Stout on St.Valentines Day, and is promoting it as an aphrodisiac.
